JOURNALISTIC PERSPECTIVE
My work follows a simple principle: look closely, classify and tell. I report from war and crisis areas as well as from the political, economic and social fault lines of our time. The focus is always on the people behind the headlines and the connections behind the events.
With journalistic care, analytical distance and narrative clarity I work in text, Audio and video. My goal is to make complex global developments understandable, to offer orientation and to maintain an uncynical view of a changing world.
The Story Institute is the place where this experience is passed on: in workshops, lectures and public conversations. It combines journalistic practice, critical thinking and knowledge transfer – for media, institutions, students and an interested public.
The Story Institute develops and realizes journalistic and documentary projects in text, audio, photo and video - from the first idea to the finished production. The focus is on storytelling strategies, material and script development, reports and documentary formats as well as podcast and video productions. In addition, the Storyinstitut offers workshops, seminars and security training for journalists, students and organizations. As a platform for knowledge transfer and public debate, the Storyinstitut organizes and accompanies lectures, moderations and discussions on journalism, crises, geopolitics and media responsibility.
